Building a strong bond with Kazushi Miyamoto is one of the earliest social opportunities available to players in Persona 3 Reload. Representing the Chariot Arcana, Kazushi is a dedicated student athlete whose personal storyline explores perseverance, physical limits, and personal growth. Fans keeping up with daily gaming news often highlight his arc as a standout example of early-game character development in modern JRPGs.
How to Unlock the Chariot Social Link
Unlocking Kazushi's Social Link happens naturally as you progress through the first few weeks of school. On April 23rd, the protagonist is invited to join a school sports club, where you can choose to join the track team. Signing up automatically initiates the Chariot Social Link, establishing Rank 1 without requiring any special stats or dialogue choices.
Kazushi is typically available on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons after class, provided there are no upcoming exams. You can find him waiting inside your classroom or near the sports grounds. Interacting with him on these days allows you to spend quality time together and advance his storyline.
Choosing the Best Dialogue Responses
To rank up Kazushi's Social Link efficiently, you should always carry a Persona of the Chariot Arcana in your active inventory. Matching Arcana bonuses grant extra relationship points during dialogue sequences, significantly reducing the downtime between ranks. Prioritizing supportive and competitive responses will earn you the highest amount of affection points.
Throughout his events, Kazushi struggles with a hidden knee injury while preparing for an upcoming meet. Encouraging his determination while subtly advising caution demonstrates empathy and solidifies your bond. Choosing answers that praise his work ethic or agree to train harder will keep the relationship moving forward smoothly.
Managing Time and Maximizing Ranks
Because Kazushi is available during daytime school hours, managing your schedule carefully ensures you do not waste precious afternoons. Prioritize hanging out with him early in the game to free up your calendar for other late-game school links like Yuko or Fuuka. If a rank up is not ready, spending a study session or receiving a fortune reading can push the relationship over the threshold.
Reaching Rank 10 with Kazushi grants the ultimate reward for the Chariot Arcana, allowing players to fuse Thor, the powerful Norse deity of thunder. Completing his arc also resolves his emotional storyline, showing his growth both as an athlete and a teammate. Maxing out his link early provides a strong tactical and narrative foundation for the rest of your journey in Gekkoukan High School.
